Per Dr. Books instructions, I left a message for her M.A. to advise that the medication she had given me did not work. I left a message 8 days ago. I have called three times since, and still no callback. Very disappointed.
Dr. Book is more than an excellent doctor, she is a very caring doctor.
Today was my first appointment with Dr. Book. I went in feeling completely hopeless after numerous other doctors couldn't/wouldn't help me. I left there nearly in tears of happiness. Though I don't have a definitive diagnosis yet, I left there with a plan and more hope than I've had in a long time. She listened, understood, didn't rush me, made me feel completely validated with all of my pain, was thorough & explained everything she found after the exam & what it meant. I'd definitely recommend!
I've struggled with bladder pain and recurring UTI's for years. Its the first time in years i feel like i am on the right path to improve my health. With the help of Dr. Book I was diagnosed with interstitial cystitis. She spends time, answers all my questions but most importantly she listens to me. She was the first doctor to stop giving me antibiotics which was just treating the symptom and to focus on the cause. Most importantly she communicates with me and her staff.
Dr. Book was friendly, compassionate, and professional. She explained things very well, answered all of my questions, and treated me with the utmost respect. I would highly recommend her to my friends and family.
