I was referred to Dr. Book via my gynecological oncologist. I was preparing to have a total hysterectomy and was referred to Dr. Book for a rectocele repair. Dr. Book was very thorough, friendly, and didn't rush any of the appointments at all. During my visits, bladder testing was completed, and I was given all of my options. I chose a rectocele repair, Sub-urethral sling, and my other surgeon was to do my hysterectomy in conjunction with Dr. Book's procedures, same day. I went to her because I had a uterine prolapse. She was recommended by my OBGYN. Most surgeons are primarily just interested in having surgery but she was extremely helpful and gave me other options we came up with some good alternatives and it's been 5 years now and everything has been doing extremely well due to her knowledge, Experience and ability to understand what is really needed for the patient. I've considered her excellent and would recommend her to anyone.
I would never return to this office, zero bedside manners, very rude and spoke disrespectful of other physicians.
Physician has cancelled 3x, finally when I did see her, she warn her phone the entire time, wouldn’t answer any of my questions and I didn’t feel she was knowledgeable in her field. Unsure, why Ohio Health lists her as a urologist, when she is not a urologist.
Dr. Book was literally the best doctor I have ever seen. She has amazing bedside manner and is so kind. I trusted her completely with my surgery from start to finish.
Dr Book was wonderful. Very professional, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. Her office staff was great. Easy to schedule appointments and follow up. Made me feel at ease with my problems and the procedure went well! Would highly recommend her!
VERY knowledgeable, bedside manner EXCELLENT. Could not ask for a more superior doc. She made me feel so comfortable and was so nice to my young son. Would HIGHLY recommend to ANYONE.
I would not go back to this office. I had a procedure done at 2pm and called, in tears due to intense pain, at 4pm. Was advised to go right to ER and they said they wld call the MD on call at Riverside and advise I was coming. While in the ER, I also called their emerg number and asked the MD on call to call me back. That on call doctor never came to see me in the ER and never called me back. No one from the office ever called me the next day to follow up on my severe pain and trip to ER.
I have seen Dr. Book and felt very much at ease with her. Having Urological issues and bladder issues. I cannot wait for her to let me know what kind of treatment she can do to help with y issues. Would definitely recommend her to the ladies with like issues. PH
