Although I’ve only been with Dr. Abell for a few months she’s been the best. I feel so comfortable talking to her and she seems to actually listen to my concerns and talk me through what’s going on during my pregnancy.
Dr Abell is a very kind and caring doctor. I’ve been to a multitude of different doctors for concerns I’ve had with my fertility as well as irregular periods and I feel that so many doctors just dismissed me. Dr Abell has always gone out of her way to really listen to my concerns and perform necessary tests to confirm my health. I couldn’t recommend her more
Dr. Abell is hands down the best OBGYN I have ever had. She has delivered two of my children (my first was with another doctor during different insurance.) She is so warm, she doesn't rush you through your appointments and thinks outside of the box. Every concern of question of mine was met with validation and exploration from Dr. Abell instead of just pacifying me like most doctors that tell me "oh it's stress you just need to drink more water and relax." So bummed out they don’t accept Gold Coast no more Dr.Abel is such a nice caring OBGYN she delivered 3 of my baby’s only giving this review a 5 star because of her I called to ask her a question about my early pregnancy and the front lady said she can’t give me advice rude !!! Couldn’t even let me talk to her my self which Im sure Dr.Abel wouldn’t mind answering me
I went to Dr. Abell back in 2018 when I was pregnant with my first child. Everything was okay in her care until she informed me at at 34 weeks pregnant that she will induce me at 38 weeks because of my age (37). I told her that it was my wish to have a natural birth and "no" I choose not to be induced so early. She then proceeded to tell me that the chances of stillbirth is very high past 38.5 weeks for women over 35 and that I would basically be putting my child at risk of death.
