Great burgers, hot open roast beef sandwich, onion rings. Love sitting outside on the deck. Service is always good

The "steakhouse" is primarily steak and seafood/fish with a few pasta dishes. The "garden room" looks to have bigger menu. I will sit there next time.
I don't recommend this place. I ordered the crab crepe and this is what I received. Canned crab, soggy crepe over a bed of rice and smothered in hollandaise sauce. I say pass it by.
Great view, not so good food Beautiful setting but the food is not so great. It's not terrible, but don't expect a truly fine steak experience here. Also, our waiter was terrible. We had a larger party but he was lethargic and unhelpful. Overpriced for what it is. Maybe you're paying for the view, which once again is spectacular.
Nice food Nicky's is a great place to eat. It overlooks the river along the North Entrance into Rocky Mountain National Park. We enjoyed the Italian selections on the menu.
Excellent Atmosphere and food We went to Nickys on the recommendation of a guide at Sombrero Stables, and were not disappointed. The atmosphere is wonderful. The back room has a large fireplace and windows overlooking the river. Dress is casual - come as you are. The steaks are excellent and they offer a nice selection of wines. Dessert is well worth it if you have any room left after dinner. Moderately priced.
