If I could give zero start, I'd. I've such a bad experience... I go there for my daughter to have wash and set and it looks like the owner is understaffed. She has a whole bunch of young girls to start the job BUT they are not professionals beauticians so the owner has to finish the job. I talk to the owner about how I wanted to have my daughter's hair done... she just replied "this is how we work here..." I went to this place last weekend because I just moved in the neighborhood and wanted to see if I could find someone to do a simple wash and set and blow. However, the wash job was terrible, the roller set was chaotic. The woman picked up a comb that fell on the floor, removed hair from it and made an attempt to use it in my hair. NOT FOR BLACK WOMEN, TRULY. I’ve never ever had a problem at the Dominican hair salon, but I’ve heard many horror stories. My hair is about 3c/4a fyi. However, after 30 years, 3.5 of which I was actively growing my hair from a buzz cut in 2020, my hair has been RUINED. 18” of virgin hair growth, ruined to keratin on a $40 service.
