Everything I've had at Nicks is excellent. I had the steakhouse salad, and as usual, delicious with the steak cooked perfectly. My husband had the prime rib sandwich...he loved it. Cooked perfectly and very tender. One of my favorite restaurants. Try South of Nicks too. The best high end Mexican food you'll find.
Fantabulous, fantastic the food and servers are the best. It is such a treat to know there are still people that take a tremendous amount of pride in their establishment. Everything is always above and beyond satisfactory. Must have excellent management. I have introduced several people to Nicks and no one has ever been disappointed. Keep up the excellence in quality and service.
We had a really nice time. Everyone enjoyed their food. My filet was tough, don't know why. Usually very tender. Very short wait time. Staff very friendly. A bit noisy but still fun. We'll be back.
Consistently amazing food, a bit loud, unfortunate experience with a gift card being improperly handled. Scrutinize your receipt. This should not happen at a restaurant of this stature.
The service is excellent... the staff seems to be happy. The food is great too. Had the sirloin, baked potato, and bistro salad, which is really nice. Start with the asparagus fries (breaded, deep-fried asparagus spears). The Moscow Mules and Lemon Drops are also well made. We go there now for all special occasions like birthdays. It's 25 miles from Oceanside, but worth it!
Dessert wasn't special too much whipped cream. Food was good
Great friendly service and wonderful ambience. Food is superb.
