Very bad service. The food is awful and the shot pours are very small even by industry standards!!! Brooke (one of their bar tenders) literally tried killing herself in here by overdosing on Tylenol here!!!
Avoid! One star is generous – I promise you will regret every minute you invest in traveling to this place. You will be met at the door by a pudgy, insecure ogre; then walk into a disgustingly kept bar with sup-par food. Did I mention the outrageous weekday cover charge? AVOID AT ALL COST! You would be better off to picking up a six-pack of beer and ordering some pizza. If you don't heed this warning I hope you have better luck than me. Best wishes.
lying thief female bartender – I've been to Nick's Pub many times and have always had a good time, especially with their Thursday night special. However, the last time I was there, when I got my tab back, the female bartender had added multiple drinks to it. When I told her that I had not ordered them, she told me that I yes I had. Never again – I had been there twice before a couple of years ago and was not really impressed. I ended up back there again this May with some friends. I was the DD so I can accurately remember what happened. First off, the big guy checking IDs at the front was an ass for no reason than to just be an ass. Great Bar Bad Employees – I have been going to this bar for the better part of 3 years now. I have always enjoyed myself there because i like the building itself and i really liked their prices. The only issue that has now spilled over that i cannot take anymore is the employees. The guy who works the door is unbelievably rude. Watch your receipt – I used to come to this Pub 3 times a month. It was a great bar. I left St. Louis for 4 years and recently came back. I decided to go back to Nick's, big mistake. The crowd was a bit different than I remember. The real issue was the thief bartender Dorothy. I noticed there were drinks on my tab that I did not order. When I called my bank to dispute the charges I was informed that Nick's Pub rang up $50 in separate charges on top of what I owed. I am now waiting for my bank to fix this. Care more about money than their patrons – While Nicks used to be one of my favorite pubs, since the smoking ban has gone into effect, they have shown that they only seem to care about the almighty dollar rather than the health of their customers. This was a favorite place of mine to bring the kids and watch a game because they had an arcade where the kids could play some games, giving them something to do during game time. Great place to go!! – I love this place! Its not only a great place to go and have a good time, u can have family time too! There food is awesome!! The service is the best in town! Top of the line!!! The owner is great too :) ....If u havent been in yet, go now and see what i mean!
My favorite bar in St Louis – I love this bar. Hands down, best place to go for one of their 20+ beers on tap, or the only-in-st-louis provel sticks. And where else are you going to find a bar that airs hockey, soccer, and gaelic rules football all at the same time? And the bartenders are extremely personable and fun, without being over the top. They make everyone feel like a "regular" even if it's their first time there.
