This is a great place to eat...love their soup, everything is homemade. Nick is a wonderful chef and shows finesse with his style of specialty food preparation. Nick has a heart of gold during the holidays...Thanksgiving is very special...Everyone is very friendly, just like going home. My only irritation over the years...you need to make this restaurant a non-smoking restaurant. You don't need the smell as you pay to leave. I'm from Boston MA and visited Denison Texas with my husband and two sons. We were looking for the best place for breakfast and someone we asked recommended Nicks. The food was so delicious and the hospitality amazing.Ok all the people we met in Texas were super nice, but the people at Nicks Restaurant were special. We were far away from home but once we stepped into Nicks, we were treated like we WERE home and we made friends that I will NEVER forget. I speak for my whole family.
