Great service, sides of Gouda Grits (not cooked long enough) and collard greens (too much vinegar in cooking) were not to my liking.
We love the food and eating outside! Always a great relaxing experience. Our waitress was not the best but she got the job done. I think she just needed to slow dow and take a deep breath! But all and all we love Nick's Boat House!
The food was outstanding. Started off with oysters in the half shell, kinda small but still delicious. Had the smoked tuna app as well, outstanding. Main dish was crawfish etouffee, great meal. Sat outside and enjoyed an amazing evening. No wait compared to the other restaurants in Pensacola. Highly recommended.
We visited Monday Oct. 2nd. There was no wait, we sat outside. The view is beautiful. Our waitress, I can't remember her name was good.. We started with the Tuna Dip which tasted just like chicken salad with huge chunks of celery in it and the Calamari which was ok but the marinara wasn't very good. My husband seemed to be the only one who liked his meal. The Gumbo had NO flavor whatsoever. The ginger salad dressing tasted old. The Amberjack with rice and shrimp was just mediocre at best. Both the food and service was excellent! The Mullet Special (on Fridays) is awesome!
The food was great, best fries I have ever had, and my waitress was wonderful, thank you miranda, you are a great waitress and don't let anyone tell you otherwise! !! Also, the food came out so fast and it was fresh and delicious! !
