I took my husband here for Father's Day and it was horrible. Well the drinks were amazing and reasonable priced and our waitress was awesome. We ordered fried green tomatoes w/crab meat...they had no flavor at all - no spices, no herbs, just bland. They were deep fried with crab meat sprinkled on it. Then the crabs came. After having a terrible experience a few weeks ago with poor service and unfriendly and stressed staff, my brother and I just recently had an EXCEPTIONAL dinner at Nicks. Our server was Walt, who was friendly, engaged, and fast. He took care of us and got to know us as people, not just customers. Great experience for out of town guests !!! From Michigan and we loved it.
Great atmosphere, excellent service plus beer selection and fresh local seafood.
Some good apps especially the fried green tomatoes generously topped with crab and the pear and goat cheese salad. Didn't love the broiled seafood platter or the sangria. Fun vibe and good view.
