Birthday Disappointment – My husband and I went to Nick and Rudy's for his milestone birthday. I made a reservation 4 days in advance, told them it was a special occasion birthday, requested a specific table for a specific time, requested a cake, and got the name of the person I spoke to. A great experience... – My first impression of Nick and Rudy's was how dark the bar was, I walked right by the people I was meeting cause I honestly just couldn't see them. Once my eyes adjusted however I saw what a beautiful establishment Nick and Rudy's was... The bar area was as alive as I have every seen at a higher ranking steakhouse establishment with people even dancing to the piano player. Nick & Rudy's Anniversary Dinner – From the moment we walked in the door, we felt welcomed and special. The waitstaff is second to none and unobtrusive, but very attentive. Our glasses were kept filled, sometimes before we even noticed. We decided on no appetizers in order to save room for dessert and had the Caesar salad made at our table. It was fabulous! Wonderful! Our Anniversary Spot! – This is absolutely our favorite Nashville steakhouse. We have our anniversary dinner here every year and have been 100% impressed every time. The food is outstanding, prices understandable for quality of food and service. We love it!
What about the filet? – This is a great place, BUT what steakhouse does not offer a filet mignon???!!!??
A night to remember – My husband and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary on Saturday and from the moment we stepped out of our car the staff was attentive and very kind. The atmosphere is elegant and the food absoloutely delicious. I've dined in the finest restaurants in cities from Beverly Hills to Palm Beach and they could take a lesson from Nick & Rudy's. It was a romantic ocassion which I'll never forget.
I love going to Nick and Rudy's. I crave the Rudy's favorite...filet on yeast rolls with shoestring fries. I have to have it once a week. They staff is very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend eating here.
What A Disappointment! – My wife and I had to travel to Nashville for a doctor's appointment, so we decided to take in a restaurant along the way. I checked Citysearch and it seemed as though Nick & Rudy's was the place for a great steak lunch, so we ordered the special. While the presentation and service was excellent, the filet was disappointingly salted to high heavens.
