Good food, good service and lots of fun dancing! – My wife and I had our 28th wedding anniversary dinner at Nick and Rudy's last night and we had a wonderful time. The service was prompt and friendly, the food was very good (a bit over priced for value), and the atmosphere was fun. We also stayed for dancing and had a marvelous time. Dont' go! – My husband and I went to Nick & Rudy?s a couple weeks ago with a few friends. We normally dine as a group at Stoney River but we wanted to give a different restaurant a try. We decided on Nick & Rudy?s because of the high rating on City Search. We will NOT be going back. I don't know how this place is still in business.The menu was overpriced and the food was nothing special. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE – MY HUSBAND TOOK ME TO NICK AND RUDY'S FOR MY BIRTHDAY. WE SET DOWN, GOT OUR DRINKS AND THE WAITOR TOOK OUR ORDER. Mouth-watering steaks, Delicious Sea Bass, Nice Wine List – I've been to Nick & Rudy's 3 times now, it does not disappoint. Sea Bass is superb. Filet mignon is tender, melts in your mouth, and delicious. I love the atmosphere - perfect for anniversaries, a nice evening out with friends, or even a family get- together. HORRIBLE Service; Reservations are a Joke; Great Piano Bar if you can stand the smoke..... – Went to Nick and Rudy's for a second chance in less than a month; made reservations both times. First experience (12/1/06) was mediocre food and bad service as we waited for a table, waited for our drinks, and finally waited for our food. No apologies or explanations. Humiliating service – I personally have NEVER experienced such poor service nor have I ever experienced such blatant racial discrimination my life. Our party of five sat at our table for more than 20 minutes (after receiving our drinks) for our server to take our lunch order? of which NEVER happened! avoid this place unless......... – .....you feel like going to an understaffed nursing home that serves mediocre food. I made reservations with Hugh 2 says in advance. We showed up 20 minutes early (after not being attended to for about 5 minutes) to find that our reservation was not recorded. Over rated – 1) There is no way the price should be listed as "$$" ($21-30). Nick & Rudy's should not be compared to the price of moderately priced restaurants in Nashville - it was not near that range (much higher). 2) The staff was friendly enough and the service was responsive enough; but, they kept mixing up our orders and bringing items after we said we didn't want them (i.e., offering wine, dessert, etc... several times after we said we didn't want them). 3) Where did the patrons come from! Not up to par! – Visited Nick and Rudy's on the recommendation of a friend, MISTAKE! Was disapointed on a number of things, Ordering the favorite prime beef, was tuff/ full of fat, a real turn off. The side was to be a yorkshire pudding? Nothing like ive seen before, and HARD as a rock dry to the bone.
