Great food good people and more than I could eat
Always a pleasure to see Helen, Nick, George & Pete also Petes wife. Been eating at Nick & Georges since the early 70s. Food is always amazing and constant, anything you order you will be pleased with!! If you haven't give them a try😁

One of my fav diners to go to. The service is quick and I've never had anything that I didn't like. I haven't had a better burger either!
I moved from the Hammond area in 1978 and at that time Nick & George's was located on the southeast corner of State Street and State Line Avenue. It was just a little shack but you could always count on getting great food there. Their specialty at that time was their Short Steak. I drove taxi nights and would stop there for my lunch break and flirt with Nick's gorgeous wife. I'm so glad to see that the family tradition is flourishing.
