A piercing screech filled the North Tulsa air from the pipe threader Coach Corey used to prep for a new fuel line. Pausing briefly, he explained the significance of proper pipe threading before cutting an opening in the weathered house's exterior to connect to the stove inside. A stench from within the house flooded through the newly made opening, and peering inside, I could see the startling condition of a hoarder's home.
