Decent clinician, but a poor communicator. Level of effort comes off as marginal. Rambles off things too quickly and it comes off like he enjoys hearing his own voice.
I was referred to Dr Slenker after attending PT for several weeks with no improvement. My shoulder naturally dislocated. First appointment we talked about everything and surgery was recommended. Dr Slenker went over his surgery day, pain management after etc. Surgery it was which I suspected as I had surgery many year before on the other shoulder for the same reason. I had a torn ACL and meniscus, I went and saw Dr. Slenker, he was by far the best knee surgeon I have ever had and I have had 3 knee surgerys. He is the best at what he does and I would recommend him to anyone!!!!!!

My husband saw Dr. Slenker for his shoulder pain. Dr. Slenker was very knowledgeable and helpful, with a personality that put us at ease. My husband didn't end up needing surgery (yet), but I feel confident that Dr. Slenker would do an excellent job, should that be necessary at some point.
