Great place friendly people
came in from out of town needed to dispose of an electric forklift and battery. Called eight or 10 scrapyards most. We’re not sure what price I would get and the prices I got I was surprised by how low they are compared to what I usually get. Call Nicholas and was surprised by the confidence of the person on the phone and giving me prices which incidentally were far higher than all the other places I had called. Went over there and unloaded the items and paid promptly in a professional manner.
I don't frequently turn in scrap metal and I'm sure generally speaking this place is good. But twice NSM proved to be disappointing: once my son and I went over, got there at least 15 minutes before closing which was supposed to be 1. As fast as they move, I'm sure we would've been done before or at least by one. My son asked the guy at the gate what time they closed and he lied and said 10 minutes ago. We loaded the car, drove over; yes we cut it close but closing prior to posted times is just inconsiderate to the customer.... read more
