Such a Wonderful person and Dr. four years ago, when we started together. Was helpful and informative, and tried in his small realm of knowledge, tried to figure out the issues of my declining health. Long note: but the point of it is. This is not a Dr who truly cares, and has his own persoanl issues that hinder his life and practise. He has also stopped my prescriptions, he got me on, and know have dangerous/bad wihdrawl. I met with Dr. Szumski in April and thought he was really good. He proposed a number of tests but when I followed up with him and his assistant, I didn't get a response. I kept following up weekly and today in July have officially turned to a different doctor.
Belated review from 10+ years ago. The worst doctor I've deal with, and the only one I've never liked. He would spend nearly all the appointment time typing on the keyboard. This was consistent across the handful of times I saw him in person. I knew it was time to move onto another doctor that actually cared when scumzki recommended that I take a medicine again, which I had just told him nearly put me into the hospital.
One of the most knowledgeable, thorough, kind, patient doctors I have ever been to. I believe and trust every word he says. He listens and gives his patients all the information that's out there and then leaves it up to the patient. It takes a while to get an appointment and then you have to wait to see him but then he will give you the whole day if you need it. I am so thankful to have found Dr. Szumski.
