After my bunion surgery with Hugentobler, I would never walk the same again. So much hardware in my foot and severe pain if my foot bent the wrong way. I can’t bend my toes anymore. I went to another doctor and after review of the X-rays, the bone was cut too short during the surgery. I can’t wear normal shoes, I have to buy special shoes. I’m constantly getting injections in both feet now due to over compensating one side. I tried telling Dr. Hugentobler but the damage was done.

If I could give zero stars I would. The doctor was almost an hour late to see me (I was the first patient of the day). He was delayed due to surgery so I accepted the delay. Once with me, it was clear he was going to try to make up time. He attributed my foot pain to my gait, however he did not watch me walk at all. He suggested rocker shoes and indicated surgery or a less invasive surgical option and sent me on my way. I was not impressed with the care he provided. This doctor performed surgery on both of my feet. I am on my 3rd surgery and find out that the first surgeries were unnecessary and I am now crippled. I am hopeful that in 2 more years of healing from the 2nd revision I will have some mobility and not be in pain 24 hours a day. Please, if you’re seeing this butcher get a second opinion. I am not the only person he’s done this to.
