We were referred to his office and made several attempts to call his office and asked for return calls. We have never been able to speak to a real person after waiting on the phone for 10 minutes.
Last October I had a heart attack and was taken to St. Alphonsas on Garrity, Dr Nicholas Hodgman saved my life. He recognized that the type of heart attack I was having is a type that kills women often, I have microvascular disease and poor blood flow can cause a heart attack that can go un detected as there is no clot and no bleeding, many women are sent home and end up dieing. I like his approach. His skills have probably kept me alive. Much better care than I received in Washington State.
to discuss the procedures you don't need and spend no time caring about how you feeling. He made his patient feel degraded. It is the same thing he does in and out side of the hospital and his church. Be careful with the recommendation from your church.
Dr Hodgman provides informative and personal cardiologist care. He takes the time with you to cover your concerns and requirements for treatment. Follow up also is a great part of his treatment.
Explained condition and recommended ongoing care needed. Answered all questions and now I know what steps I need to take to maintain my health. Did not feel rushed. Friendly office, makes you feel they really care.
Not impressed with this doctor! They canceled my father’s appointment twice dew to the fact that the doctor was on call. Is it unreasonable to have another doctor look at him? Surely DR. Hodgman isn’t the only cardiologist in the building. I mean this is the second time! It’s not like it’s a well child check-up. It’s for an elder man who has heart problems! Thank goodness they went ahead and did the NEEDED refill for his meds.
Dr. Hodgman is so knowledgeable about general Cardiology and his interventional subspecialty. In the course of care for my father as well as myself he has demonstrated generous concern for the whole patient.
Had a pleasant visit, all questions answered. Doctor is very common sense and knowledgeable.
