RecommendedEvery hospital has its problems, and the ER is always no fun. But the caregivers here, in and out of the ER are genuinely caring. I think people do not quite understand triage, then bad reviews stem from that misunderstanding, at times. However, the people here, from the housekeepers to the administration, surgeons and hospitalists to nurses and techs have saved my life and my sanity. I will always go here. Employees in Er coughing without covering thier mouths, patients were being talked to with horrible attitudes!! The wait is ridiculous!! Ive had my test results back on my chart and have been waiting 4 hours to be sent home and yet employees are standing around. I would leave but my insurance wouldnt pick up the bill. I was brought by ambulance so Im sure it will be pricey. The same wait is why when I was at Kassman I stroked and it took several hours to be told and transferred to main Pres. Sad when I told them what was wro... read more

RecommendedHey just wanted to post a great opportunity at the VA. There are two positions one for infusion nurse and one for cancer nurse navigator. The VA is unaffected by the government shutdown and we are one of the only places that offer an actual pension for retirement. There is also great benefits as well as the opportunity to make a great salary. usajobs.gov is where to apply.
