I went there on a tour. Looked like half the residents were all in the hall ways. The lady giving a tour when she found out my wife was on Medicare changed her tune. That they had some on a waiting list for more than 20 years. I still put my wife on waiting list. They called back to still see if I wanted her on waiting list. WORST place to work. Always short staffed, no salary increase, overworked but no incentives. Unsafe place to work due to nurse patient ratio (40 patients), CNA patient ratio. The admin /management sees employees as robots, would always ask “how are you?” but don’t really care. Heartless DON. Please don’t apply here, run like the plague! Don’t wast your time and take care of your mental health. Karma will come and get those in position, one day your kids will theow you in a home care, hope you get the CARE YOU DESERVE!!!

A few years ago, it was great. Now, completely AWFUL!! Understaffed, poor care and extremely rude! They don't tell you the truth and it takes days to get anything worked out. My husband left with a deep bedsore that was not shared with me. Call button not monitored. A few patients know the elevator code and several tried to get on the elevator with me to get to the first floor. Caris Hospice is always there. Maybe they own it???

I do not recommend this location for a place of employment or for your loved one. I saw how this place terminated my mother at the age of 62 after giving them 18 years of service. If you can— select another place for your loved one and another place to have your career. Read through the other reviews.

Without due cause or documentation, the facility separated me from family in order to manipulate and cover up their corruption and sole interest in profit. The deceit and corruption run deep at NHC, as is well-documented by several civil lawsuits over the years and at various nhc facilities, to include the corporation, in the million-dollar bracket. If you think you or your loved one matters to a dead and corrupt business entity, you are gravely mistaken. Take heed, you'd best supervise your loved one's care on a daily basis... read more
