Getting seen by her was my worst experience ever, she refused to see me unless one of her students performed the Pap-smear, Which I was never notified that a student would take over for the doctor. I even called off work for this appt. She refused to do her job while my insurance was charged at the so-called expense of her care, the student should have got paid instead. I felt like I was in a Third World Country, no rights no choice , the price I had to go through in order to get seen on my appt.date .
Dr. Nguyen is simply the best as other patients stated. She never rushes an appointment, she lets the patient ask all the questions they need to. I switched my insurance plan to schedule an appointment with her and I'm so happy I did. She diagnosed my condition and explained the options and prescriptions clearly. If you need a good Rheumatologist don't look any further!
I have been seeing Dr. Nguyen for 9 years since I moved to SD. She was first recommended to me by my friend Dr. Paul Han at scripps who said “she is simply the best.” This is an understatement, Dr. Nyugen is beyond kind and caring and extremely competent, my symptoms have drastically improved with her care. absolutely the most caring doctor I have ever had, and (unfortunately I have had more than a few.
Absolutely horrible customer service from the girls at the front desk. The doctor and her intern were great, but the front desk does not want to be bothered with patients in person or on the phone. They never answer, you have to leave multiple message before they take care of what needs to be taken care of & the part I love the most, they don't even return your calls at all, they just call in your prescription and that is ONLY AFTER you had to reiterate on your 5th or 6th phone call that you have left multiple messages!
