I need to take a minute to give the world my honest opinion of my experience at Next Step recovery. I can here because I had a know problem with alcohol and no idea how to even start to work through it. BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE! This place lacks compassion and care. They do not treat you as an equal and are consistently ignored.. the techs talk amongst themselves rather than trying to help you along your difficult journey and the employees don't even know their own rules. I was reprimanded in front of the other clients for trying to find the nurse because my meds were late and j went in the adjoining house. I was told I was not allowed to the nurse's station there. Best rehab spot in the bay. My friend said he never felt pressured or rushed by staff and everyone came from a place of love.
I really enjoyed being at Warner Park recovery center I learned a lot they was very helpful and very tentative to the clients what a great place
STAY AWAY! Your staff needs to treat their clients with compassion and understanding. Treat your clients with dignity and respect, we’re people just like you, we,re just more vulnerable. Medical staff also said that i had two days of attivan left, and when I went to get a dose they said i was out and they would not reorder. I take klonapine twice a day because of anxiety, and was refused my detox meds. Coming off of benzo's can be fatal.
