ERs can change! My 5 month old daughter had a difficulty breathing with cough and stridor at rest. Since New York-Presbyterian Westchester is the closest hospital to us, I rushed her to their ER even though I wanted to go to White Plains Hospital. My plan was to have her there and then transfer her somewhere else since my previous 3 experiences with this ER were not positive (long wait to be triaged, disorganized, carelessly rushed, etc.).
