LASIK was something I wanted to do for years but I was always quite nervous about the surgery and put it off. I finally decided to take the plunge in the middle of last year and it has honestly been one of the best decisions ever! I now have better than 20/20 vision! I couldn’t recommend the clinic enough. I am 15 months post PKR laser eye surgery and the surgery has meant my eyes are chronically dry. Dry eye symptoms are common post surgery, and is no laughing matter. I wish I looked into this more before I went in the chair, because there is no cure for dry eyes and although it's common, like asthma/ hayever it's very debilitating. My eyes are constantly uncomfortably dry and my vision is blurred but cannot be instantly corrected with glasses as it's not refractive but to do with the the biochemistry of my eyes. New vision clinics have changed my life! I can’t believe I now have 20/20 vision after so many years. They are such an amazing team right from the lovely reception staff to the optometrists and the incredible surgeon, Dr Lana Del Porto! The team in the procedure Terry, Andrea and dr Lana made me feel so at ease in what was quite a nervous time. I’m so grateful for their professionalism and support. Thank you so much.
