Yesterday was our first visit to Newt’s. We were in town for an event at the civic center and Siri came up with this a a great place to eat. First off it was confusing to find, not being from the area. When we arrived inside we took seats at the bar. There was only one waitress working and she was running her butt off! The place was full. The food was delicious once another waitress arrived to work and took care of us. I would return but they need more wait staff twenty mins plus to get helped was a bit much.
I am never ordering a burger here again! Because the fish sandwich is amazing. It is seriously the best fish sandwich I have ever had.

Decided to try this place because it was voted best burger in the Rochester area for 13 years in a row. Wth that kind of credentials, I thought this must be some kind of amazing burger. Got the sliders so I was able to sample a few different burgers. This buger is mediocre at best. They clearly do nothing to season the meat prior to cooking it, & the types of burger you find here is nothing original or extraordinary. Do they have ok burgers, yes. Best burgers around? Food was amazing. Juicy Lucy was delicious and the Marvin burger was also great. Soup was homemade. Service was spot on. Restraint was cozy and pleasant. Will not go wrong At Newts

Yesterday we our boss took 3 of us out to lunch and since Roscoes is closed on Mondays we decided to go to Newts downtown above Hefe Rojos..waitress was good kept our drinks full...cheese curds good...California burger fair....here is what turned me off the most which I would of walked out but since the boss brought us there I didn't wanna say to much..but then he started to notice what I had seen..dust bunnies on the ceiling,the fans dirty..windows dirty..speakers in the ceiling dirty...the space is small and people who wor... read more
Holy shit, best burguer i've ever had! Try the marvin's burguer when you come down. Service was really good, food was served really fast, definetely would come back!
