Dr. Newsom has a vast knowledge of methods to heal the body naturally. He has a special interest in lifestyle medicine and the ageing brain. Probably not the guy you want to see if you only want drug therapy.

Dr. Newsom is a gift in every sense of the word. He is a walking genius with a heart for marriage and children and wellness in the home. I have been seeing him for over ten years and feel he is the best, hands down, choice for anything from marriage counseling to managing stress to raising children. He diagnosed a rare type of seizure I was having and I did not even know I was dealing with this disorder. He is a man of integrity and teaches mindfulness and teachings of Jesus to those receptive.

Saw him for my anorexia, PTSD, depression, after being in the hospital for a fair amount of time. I needed medication management primarily. (I had other team members). What he thought would be best was going off my medication and beginning an intense cardio program. Getting me out and running in particular would lift my mood, he said. This is contrary to anorexia treatment guide. He also recommended forming a sort of php with his office. Many appointments weekly, unclear on their benefit to me.

Snake oil salesman, Spends up appointments pushing treatments that have very little scientific research into. Makes clients sign up for expensive vitamin suppliments.
