I went to Hoag ER and was referred to Newport Orthopedic in Huntington Beach. I called in, they verified my insurance and set an appointment. I filled out corresponding paperwork the day before my appointment. I had to take an Uber to the appt bc my injury limited my ability to drive. After Ubering to the clinic and waiting for an hour and a half I was told that my insurance would not be accepted. No referral was given. I saw Naomi for pain management. She was accurate with the diagnosis to alleviate my recurring pain. She was professional yet personable which was such a comfort to me. Resolution was easier and quiet managable. For me to get back to working out. Thank You!!!

I did not have the great experience with this office. Had a sore knee and was referred and was offered a knee brace. I specifically asked if I would be charged for it and was told NO by Dr. Jin Choy so I accepted it. Then I started getting bills for it and actually never used it. I called the accounts payable and always got voice mail and left 3 if not 4 messages and no one ever returned my call but continued to send me bills. Had first appt today with Dr. SILJANDER, M.D....HE WAS terrific He viewed my xrays by Steve and told me my status. Professional, kind and gave me his professional diagnosis. I return in a couple of weeks and felt so much better.. HE LISTENS ..... SO FORTUNATE TO HAVE HIM ON MY TEAM !!!!!!!!!

This review is for the billing department and office staff. I was quoted a specific amount by one staff member before my appointment, asked to pay a different amount at the time of the appointment. Later when I contested the charge and provided proof, the billing department agreed with me but said there was nothing that could be done because office staff would not make necessary adjustments. This went back and forth for a few months so I decided to just count my losses.
