My husband and I paid over $400 for my Mom's 70th birthday to be a "Murder Mystery" dinner on this train. The biggest disappointment and most upsetting part was that they sat us on the right side of the train like peasants where we couldn't see the spectacular views of the sunset, ocean, bridge boats etc. I would have not paid this much money had I known. A great place to dine. I attended during a conference and, while you are getting an amazing experience, keep in mind it's on a train! Tailor your expectations and you will not be disappointed. Great food, great service and I look forward to returning.
We had an issue with the bill, with the pricing and how the taxes are calculated. We requested this information, first by phone. I spoke to Pat in the office. She said she would get back to us. She NEVER did! We made at least four follow up calls asking for a return call and no one from the office ever responded. We also requested this in writing and they STILL have not provided this information! This leads us to believe they might be hiding something. Why are they not being transparent???
