the HB office staff should be ashamed to work in the medical field - they are completely heartless and do not care about the welfare of children ! My 3 yr old was rushed to the hospital due to a random seizure and not one doctor was available to see him the next morning!! (His doctor is Valerie Sheppard, in 3 years she’s only been able to actual see him in person twice!�) (BECAUSE, as it was explained to me by their office Manager, he’s on medical!!!!) if he had ANY other insurance he would’be been cared for! Have been taking my daughters to Newport Childrens Medical for 12 years now. The quality of care they provide far exceeds the norms in Pediatric Medical care. I trust the Doctors with that which is most precious to me - my children. The head Doctor is also a Hospital Intensivist which is who takes care of the sick children that Pediatricians send to the hospital.
Great so far, just moved here and Dr. Shepard was referred to me by my son's previous pediatrician. I really liked her, very good with kids.
My son went in for a follow up appointment nothing major. While doing observation he noticed signs that would frighten ANY mother!!! Within in no time my son was admitted to the hospital after Dr.Reda personally called ahead and SPOKE with the physician on duty and order a MENEGITIS screening. Once in his room shortly after my 5year old lost his voice and had swelling along the right side of his face and neck. Dr. Read had a team and treatment plan ALREADY in place!!!
