Very efficient, but can take time to talk. Once my wife and I ended sitting in his private office, where I admired a painting he owns of the train station. Long story short, per him: Disagreement of some sort apparently stopped the sale. So the artist repainted all the 2nd floor windows black, indicating out of business. Popular Real Estate mogul not happy.

My husband was treated by Dr. Newman since the early 2000's. During his time with Dr. Newman, Dr. Newman had long delays in getting results of medical tests to my husband about his condition. Dr. Newman put my husband through a number of biopsies of the prostate, which are painful (more than 4 or 5) before finding cancer in 12/2017. The office staff is very unprofessional and rude. Wait times are ridiculously long (2+ hours), and when we asked what was going on we were given no explanation but told we could reschedule appointment. After driving an hour to get there then waiting two hours, we were not willing to reschedule. We have had this experience with the staff on three visits now, so today is our last visit. We will not be using Dr Newman again.

To the griper concerning the long wait for the lab work-that's not his office that is causing the wait-the hospital lab is the one that does all that. I waited 6 weeks (!) and was explained to me (by the hospital) that the hospital waits until they get a certain amount of lab work, then will do them at the same time. The hospital seems to be the dysfunctional culprit concerning this. I've had no problems during interaction with Dr Newman, only with unfriendly persons who answer the phone there.

Dr Newman needs to retired. My husband had his blood tested and it took almost three weeks & 1/2 weeks to get results. When, I called to inquire the medical staff employee was very rude. They were rude to CTCA staff Registered Nurse that tried to get records as well. The results from Dr Newman office was wrong. Equipment is outdated!!!!! Will never visit again or refer anyone else.

Had an appointment in March 2018. The waiting area was dingy. The back offices and patient rooms were disorganized and dirty. The medical appointment was not helpful. Would definitely not recommend.

He is a bit of an odd one, but knows his job. Has always been very courteous, friendly, and very knowledgeable-to me, anyway.I have seen him on several occasions just fly off the handle in response to something (though, never at me). Watched him cuss a patient out a few yrs ago in front of all of us patients, and ran him out of the office-don't know reason for the rant. He also gets very ill when anyone mentions another Dr's diagnosis on something. The wait time can be extremely long on my appts

If I could leave ZERO stars I would. The office is filthy. We were trapped in the most disgusting, cramped, and overbooked waiting room imaginable. We waited 4 hours. Throughout our stay the staff was loudly chatting amongst themselves. The doctor finally graced us with his presence in a lab coat I'm sure hasn't been cleaned in years. He listened to nothing we said. Mumbled incoherently, scribbled an rx and we were rushed out in less than 10 minutes with no answers and the worst advice possible.

He has done surgery on me twice and nursed me through several kidney stones. He not only has an MD but a Ph.D. in chemistry.
