Updated review: I spoke too soon. My experience here has been increasingly worse since I posted the last update. What I assume to be a software error on the complex's side in October resulted in a late fee and an NSF charge on my account for a payment that literally sat in my account the entire time. The resident idiot told me the office is unable to reverse NSF fees, but offered a refund of the late fee. Where do I begin??? When we moved in, we noticed many issues with the place. Cabinets smell nasty and are sticky on the outside, carpets were very messy and we had to vacuum as soon as we moved in. Most outlets in multiple rooms not working and light switches inactive. Laundry units constantly become out of order (mind you it’s $4.50 to clean one load of laundry). Terrible communication from the leasing manager since recent changes. Emails go ignored for days at a time or completely, maintenance has been extremely unhelpful, and most of all, you’re really not getting what you paid for. The carpets in these buildings smell like cat piss. These people show little regard for tenant safety/quality of life. DO NOT RENT HERE.
If you smoke or vape, this is not the apartment for you. They won't even let you smoke outside or on the property! Is this a hospital or home? Being very respectful of others and going outside to visit our best friends we would occasionally go outside for a smoke. We don't even feel welcome or safe any longer. Her car was also stolen from the parking lot. Office personel are not friendly
Terrible communication from the office since the recent changes. Units full of disfunctional amenities, outlets, lightswitches, you name it. Newcastle is where you sign a lease once and move as soon as you get the chance. Would not recommend, especially for the cost.
