Dr. Newby is so kind and caring. She always listens to what I have to say and thinks through everything with me. I am so glad to have found such a wonderful doctor.

Totally missed a sizable tumor and blamed not being able to see my ovary on my age. Her ultrasound person was more concerned than her. The ultrasound person was quietly concerned to the point that she repeated my test...she had a gut feeling that something was wrong, but not being a doctor she could say nothing. At my next appointment Dr. Newby didn't know why I was there and didn't realize that my test results were on her laptop. I do not recommend that anyone use her as their doctor.

I saw Dr Newby for pelvic pain in 2017 and she was so impressed with herself and her own knowledge that she wouldn't even listen to my concerns and would argue with me about what I was feeling. She talked down to me and made me feel foolish and didn't even do any tests (pap smear, ultrasound, etc) to see what was going on. I have dealt with this same pain for almost a year now and it's just gotten worse. I will be going back to a Dr now but not her- not ever again!

I was very surprised by her uncaring nature and inability to listen to patient concerns. She was almost argumentative when I asked a question and would not give me a straight answer. I would not recommend her as a doctor if you have any sort of medical conditions and need a doctor who will advocate for you.

I am glad I have had a very low risk pregnancy but Newby doesn't even take the time to read my chart before seeing me. I have lab work sent from their partner office and she asked me why I didn't follow up. I did not follow up because I am not the doctor. You are the doctor, take the time to make sure the proper lab was run and if a second lab is needed you should request it. The reason that I am low risk is because I am taking good care of myself. She is also seems to be pushing a C-section

Well My Daughter Dannielle has her first appointment this coming Monday, this is her first pregnancy, we are so excited for her ,but at the same time we are sad cause we live in Texas. We hope that we will be able to be there for some of her appointments , I love yourreviews Dr Newby. Please take good care of our baby girl. Sincerely Elena and Pete Cantu.

Life is a whirlwind in our house and would not typically take time to submit a review on a doctor, but I felt I must share how blessed our family is to have Dr. Newby in our lives. Dr. Newby has delivered all three of our beautiful babies. Two were complicated pregnancies and required a lot of attention (and sometimes worry). Dr. Newby was always available to quickly calm our fears and give us a realistic vision of what was actually occurring. She was our super hero when we needed one most!

I have been going to Dr.Newby since Jan. of 2010. She has delivered 2 of my children & will be delivering our 3rd in June. Nothing but excellent care provided by her. So much so that I also use her as my PCP since the birth of my 2nd. I just couldn't find another doctor that is as great as her. I saw 6 different PCP's over the last 4 years & have yet to find one as complete, kind & relevant as she is. I only have one issue. I wish I could have the option to deliver at St Luke's South again.
