I was having bad stomach pains and nausea all day. Because of Covid i had to check in online...no biggie. i was told i would receive text messages with instructions. i got the first text (conformation)at 12:35pm. Within a few minutes I received a text asking what insurance I had. Then one at 12:45 asking me to let them know when I got there. I replied that I was pulling in at that moment. Typically I would give this place five stars. However today I was made to feel like less than a person by Dr. Amy Cohagen. Long story short I came here yesterday with a severe sore throat, and tested negative for strep throat. Givin a steroid, and lozenges to help and sent on my way. Yesterday’s visit has been the same as all the times we have visited previously, Absolutely wonderful. Then there’s today’s visit. I went back to Newark-valley hoping to be retested for strep to be able to get an antibiotic to help with the pain... read more
Very professional and would recommend anyone that needs urgent care to go here.
Friendly staff checked us in and filed paper work in a timely manner. We were taken back and treated, also in a timely manner by respectful and professional staff. I would return to this location again.
I was seen and treated by Caroline Koperski the PA for a acute sore throat that I had for close to a week. She was very professional along with her staff. After starting the meds she prescribed I was feeling better the next day. I would go back to the facility in the future if the need arises.

They could improve their service by actually listening to their clients. Not everyone in Newark is trying to seek narcotics. My daughter had a horrible experience this evening with Dr. Barcelona. I do not recommend this urgent care to anyone. Instead of treating her like a drug seeking junkie, he could have politely explained that they couldn't assist her and recommended she go to the ER. Clinicians need to learn to treat everyone with respect. We are all their clients.
