This place is so wonderful!! I visited in August with my Mother, and my Sister! We are all from Texas, and yes, as you can imagine, it was very hot in Texas in August.. It was perfect in Maine when we were there!! The gardens were beautiful, breakfast was superb, the staff were exceptional, and the perfect ending to the day was sitting by the bonfire with a sky full of stars above!! My plan is to take my husband and daughter to Newagen this coming summer! I want them to experience the wonderful, relaxing feeling of this Inn!... read more

We loved Newagen Seaside Inn! From the moment we walked in, until the time we checked out, we were impressed with the friendly staff, the beautiful views, the fantastic room and amazing food! We can honestly say we have never been to a place where everyone, including the owner, made us feel at home. We will definitely be back! Hopefully next time with the entire family! My wife&I just returned from a brief but thoroughly enjoyable stay. Of course the rooms and food were exactly as expected--what I want to comment on are the countless small touches that make the Inn "homey": the historic photographs, tastefully displayed outside the rooms.
