The Best. – Dinner at L'Atelier is frighteningly expensive. Figure on $200/person when after tax and tip, but from where I sit it is the smartest money you can play in Las Vegas. I have been to L'Atelier 5 or 6 times now and I have never had service that wasn't attentive and good-natured. And I haven't sampled many dishes there that didn't quickly become my favorite things in the world. Yes, the tasting portions are small, as others have noted, but there are also tapas and entree sized portions of many items. I prefer the sm... read more

Imaginative food, great ambience, service a bit too casual – We had a very good and festive meal here consisting of a tasting menu (seven courses) and a very nice wine recommended by our waiter. The food is innovative and beautifully plated, and we all especially loved a scallop sliced thin and the oysters flash-baked with butter. My two big complaints were: 1) the waiter/busboy cleared away plates while some of us were still eating, which is a giant faux pas in finer restaurants, and 2) the two desserts were unimaginative a... read more

Mixed Feelings on this place... – The ambience of the restaurant is definitely relaxed, the best place to sit is at the bar (where you can see the chefs in action). We ordered the tasting menu, which had some pretty extraordinary dishes. Most impressive to me was a honey glazed quail -delicious. My only complaint is that some of the dishes were tiny. My husband was still hungry at the end of the meal. The sommelier was very nice, and helped us order a great wine for less than $80. Overall though, the meal was pricey. Our tot... read more

Like being in Paris – This is a phenomenal place. I had just returned from a trip in France where we ate at Michelin 1-star, 2-star, and 3-star restaurants. The food here is quite quite impressive, and it is easily on par with 1 or 2 star places. The ambiance is super-casual and reminds you of a sushi bar. But I tell you, if you love french food, this place is the move. It is expensive, however, so bring a lot of money. Dinner for two with wine ($55 a botttle, the cheapest one) and three tasting menu courses and dessert set ... read more

Over priced cafeteria food – Yuck! You think this is original? Sushi bar rip off from a washed up chef. Desserts especially were bad. Hello? A cactus? Go back to wherever you are from!

Chefs prepare meals right before your eyes at Joel Robuchon's unique eatery. – In Short Chef Robuchon dissolves the boundaries between kitchen and dining room with L'Atelier, allowing patrons to peer directly into the kitchen from upholstered stools arranged around a U-shaped bar. The simple and straightforward fare includes tapas and a tasting menu with wine pairings and entrees, including his famed free-range quail stuffed with foie gras; roasted rack of lamb perfumed with thyme; and spicy steak tartare served with crispy ... read more
