AMAZING FOOD, WINE AND SOOO MUCH FUN!!!!!!!!!!!! – Great food in a great setting, sit at the counter for the best experience!!! Service and wine excellent as well. I especially enjoyed the "sliders" foie gras burgers, sooo good!

Extremely Pricey, Unbelievably Worth It! – Joel Robuchon, the "Chef of the Century," has created the finest cuisine possibly on the planet with his namesake restaurant in Las Vegas. THe restaurant is very hard to get in to and requires formal dress and a whole lot of cash, but it is a definite must before you die.

Feast for all the senses – Theservice was attentive but not fussy and the food was fabulous! We did the summer menu (4 courses $75 ends 8/31/08) and everything was beautifully prepared and presented. Waiter was knowledgeable and food runner described each dish in detail. Wine list is good - emphasis on French wines (of course) and good selection at each price point. The homemade bread was ethereal and the sorbets and tartes for desert were mouthwatering - as good as it gets.

Inventive food, terrible atmosphere – My wife and I went recently as part of an anniversary trip to Vegas. In a nutshell: the food is inventive and interesting, but the atmosphere is below par for a fine dining experience. Positives: the food was unusual, the palate of the chefs was excellent, and we had a few dishes we had to admit we had never had before. Negatives: Though the dining room is visually beautiful, you basically have to sit on stools at a glorified counter space. The effect is as though you're in a very nice d... read more

Relax and Enjoy – Been there at least 10 times. It is a must go in Las Vegas. Let the brilliant Chef Steve Benjamin create dinner for you, relax and enjoy. Sit at the bar and watch the magic enfolds. The portions are not big, which allows you to try more items. Bring a date for a romantic dinner, a colleague for a business dinner, friends for a fun evening, everything works. The service is better at the bar, and the food is heaven. For bigger portions eaters, go to Claim Jumper, Maggiano or other eateries. L'Atelier is for t... read more

Such an unfortunate Friday night experience- Mr Robuchon better get the firing line ready – We have been to Atelier in Paris twice and went opening week at the MGM last year. We were huge fans of this restaurant and loved the concept. We steered everyone here when we talked about Vegas food. Twelve of us went this past Friday. It was a disaster. It took exactly 75 minutes from the time we ordered until the time we got our first course. The amuse bouche took 50 minutes and it was argula gazpacho in a shot glass. It tasted lik... read more

Worst value of all time – I ate here with a group of 8 last Sunday night. Four of us had the $135 tasting menu and 4 ordered off the menu. A couple of rounds of drinks later and 3 bottles of reasonable priced wine and the bill was over $1,700. The food quality was mediocre at best. I live in San Francisco and have dined at Michael Mina, Gary Danko, the Ritz Dining Room, French Laundry, etc. as well as some the best places in New York, London and Paris. This was hands down the worst value of any meal I've ever eaten. I won't ... read more

the quality of the food was outstanding BUT!! – what you get for what you pay is a joke!!my wife and i had dinner there total bill was $150.00 the food was superb the service excelllent the room beautiful but the value was horrible!! i had the sqaub and my wife had the halibut, what i got was not a whole sqaub but a leg portion of a squab, so my dinner entree was about the size of one small chicken wing!! and my wifes fish was no larger than a match book!! the mashed potato's about one table spoon(but they are the best potat... read more

Imaginative, mind-blowing food with stellar service – If you're a fan of the original Iron Chef, you know Joel Robuchon. Not only is he an award-winning French chef of the highest caliber, he's also famous for his appearances on the show as a French food expert extraordinaire. So while we couldn't quite stomach the bill for a dinner at the adjacent Mansion, the Atelier was a good way to be introduced to Robuchon's creative cuisine. We got a seat facing the open air kitchen, and watched each dish as it was prepared and plated... read more
