Shady and Deceptive. I cancelled my VUL policy on 12/28 and was told my to upload the form, indicate EFT and funds would be released in 2-3 days. The policy was cancelled the next day, so i was no longer covered as of 12/29. Called to follow up on the 30th and was told that it was set up for a paper check to be mailed and that the status was in the "Conservation period". My father-in-law passed away recently and *** was his agent for many years. I had a few occasions to work with *** on a life insurance policy both before and after my father-in-law's passing. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He personally handled the claim and brought the account to settlement very quickly. I would highly recommend him for your insurance needs.
Underhanded and deceiving. I had life insurance with them for almost 20 years and suddenly they raised my monthly payment and told me my policy had no cash value and in order to keep it current, I needed to pay more. When i bought the policy I was told my payment would never go up and that it was a fixed amount. Suddenly I got a bill due for almost 400% more of what I was originally quoted and promised.
