not so great the selection isn't good, the people have no personalty and they sell dresses that they aren't allowed too. I had a good experience w/ my friend the first time but this time the sales girl just wasn't into it - at all!
Great Place - Professional Staff Great Experience. These women know their business. Stephanie has been a joy to work with. I'm the MOB for the first time and we actually had two appointments with Stephanie last spring to find "the dress". She was very patient and helped us pick the perfect wedding dress. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE Worst experience in my life. Not only did they mess up my dress, but the customer service is terrible. Worst alterations I have ever seen. We had to go out and buy the same dress from another store 3 weeks before our wedding, talk about STRESS!!!!!!!

I have not picked up my dress yet but was very pleased with the fact that when i went there stephanie was a pleasure to work with. and gave me all kinds of pointers from how to get blood stains out of ur dress in case u prick ur self to how to make ur posture better when ur taking pictures! keep in mind that people are more opt to write bad reviews than good. amazing! I do not care what people say, NY Lace is amazing! I bought an eve of milady gown there during a trunk show and worked mostly with fostina and then also stephanie. Fostina is simply amazing. She has such a good sense of style, what looks good and what does not. I asked her for her advice on all aspects of my attire and even general wedding ideas. She was always so willing to help me. WARNING TO ALL BRIDES! Horrible, horrible, horrible, that is how I would describe my experience with New York Lace. They try to get as much money out of you as possible, right from the beginning they tried to get me to pay an additional $150 rush cut fee that was not necessary, when I told them I refuse to pay it and would get the dress elsewhere, the story suddenly changed and the fee was not needed. I feel bad for these reviewers. I feel horrible for the brides that had to go through what they went through. I feel like it should be the best experience in the world and to know someone printed out a paper and threw it at the person is ungodly! I went in their for a prom gown and to tell you the truth they took a look at my size and pretty much said there's nothing here. run the other way i will never go back there again, They do not back up damaged products and the manager is very rude. also down stairs for fitting is diquesting. They are very friendly when selling,but if there is ,like a huge bleach stain,sale as is.paula scarsciotti
Stay away! do NOT go to this store! I was in 8 months prior to my wedding, when I returned for my first fitting everything seemed ok, well when I went for my second fitting they told me they hadn't done any work on either of my two bridal gowns and that I "need to relax" and wait there while they do my alterations! My third and final fitting was scheduled on the Thursday before my wedding and I called before to make sure the alterations were done, but they WEREN'T!
