Dr Sommer and his staff are totally awesome! They are very professional and gentle and kind. So far I have lost 85 pounds from my highest weight! I couldn’t be more happy with my results. I had several bumps in the road with my insurance company but everything has been cleared up thanks to Felice and Jacqueline fixing/adjusting these issues. I appreciate all they have done.

My surgery was one year ago and I am very happy with the care I received from dr Sommer and his staff. The front desk staff at the Cortlandt Manor location are very efficient and are always happy to see me when I come in. It’s been a pleasure.
Professional and courteous service! It was a pleasure to walk into an office where the receptionists, doctor’s assistant as well as the doctor were very polite, respectful, and professional. The cleanliness of the office was immaculate. It was a very comfortable atmosphere from the minute I walked into the office. Dr Holover was Amazing!
I reccomend the Bariatric Group because they are very caring and supportive team, from the first day to the day of my surgery they were there with alot of support & information I needed. I have a big Thank you to Michell from the port Jefferson Group, I was going to change my mind about the surgery and she told me about her experience with the surgery an how it change her life that made me stick to my decision and i thank her for that because I'm feeling great already. This group is all about team work. They work together as a coach for you. I have been on this journey with NY Bariatric for the last 4-5 years. Having finally made my decision a little less than a year ago I have used the TOOL that Dr Garber gave me and have reconstructed my thinking eating and relationship with food. It no longer has control over me. I am so blessed to be on this journey and I am so thankful for the support of my team NY Bariatric.
