In 1919, with one moving truck, Economy Moving & Transfer Company began operations. Thirty-four years later, Edward Marx purchased the company from his father. In 1982, after the moving industry was deregulated, Marx established New World Van Lines. We were overcharged for our recent corporate move, and several TVs were dropped and damaged without reimbursement. Our home was also damaged during packing, and the company has been unwilling to address these issues professionally or make reasonable accommodations. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

This company (being used by our neighbor) thinks it’s totally fine to block our driveway three days in a row and refuse to stop doing so. When you complain though, helpfully, they will say “I’ll pray for you”
