The guy at the front was really nice and friendly. However, I got to-go Mongolian beef and am disappointed with it because it's really salty and not sweet like I was expecting :(
Simply amazing. Behold, the Spicy Seafood Clay Pot (or #5 under New Red Bowl Specialties on the menu)... Big fat shrimp and scallops, mushrooms, broccoli, flavorful sauce with a little bit of spice. I've yet to be disappointed with this place. July 2026- first visit in a few years for some reason. Went with the Rainbow roll and the beef dry pot off the szchechuan menu. Amazing!
The Szechuan menu here is top notch. If you're ordering from any other part of the menu, you're missing out on what makes this place great. Try the dry pot, try the dry fry, and give the stir fried baicai a shot! That said - the rest of the menu is still fantastic, it's just less unique. This is a go-to restaurant for my family and for when visitors are in town. Red Bowl is one of a few restaurants around town that would truly crush me if they closed (alongside Kelly's and Cali's).
If I could give negative stars for this place I would, because it deserves a negative 10 in all aspects. We came here for my husband's birthday on Sunday, July 5, 2026, for an early dinner before 5pm. I ordered Pad Thai with chicken, and since it's something I usually order out, I didn't think it would turn out so incredibly nasty and inedible. The odor was horrific.
