AWFUL experience. I left a session crying and feeling bullied by Erin Dougherty. In a joint session with my therapist and my husband's therapist (Erin), she told me my feelings were wrong, how I didn't understand him after 21 years, and that my reasons for being upset weren't valid. She didn't stop when I started crying or when I had to leave the room. I will NEVER meet with her again.
Their thorough website and prompt response via telephone to my message via their website are what put them at the top of my list when I was seeking help a few years ago, this was after calling multiple other therapist offices and didn’t receive any calls back or the times of day they offered service did not work for my schedule. I have had many therapists throughout my life and have by far connected most with my current therapist at the Towson location. She has 20+ years of experience and a breadth of wisdom to be shared. She is kind and professional and I am so happy that I have met her because I am doing more work on myself now than I ever have before. Also, the office itself is very clean and calming with new furniture, soothing lighting and very easy to get to off 695. I'd highly recommend.
Mary Ellen is an awesome therapist! She’s so genuine and easy to talk to. She’s truly helped me in the past to overcome obstacles I was trying to battle. When she was busy I was referred to “Greenwald” , I forgot her first name, but she was the absolute worst!! Extremely unprofessional and if something came up and I had to cancel, she literally called my phone yelling and screaming and attacking me!!
