DO NOT MOVE HERE!! COCKROACH INFESTATION!!! I moved in on a Saturday. Promptly moved out Sunday. Cockroach crawled on the couch next to me and when I tried to spray raid behind the appliances they scattered from behind the fridge. Talked to two other residents(one on the other side of the building) and they both said they’ve seen the cockroaches but we’re “not bothered by them”. It’s cheap rent but DONT DO IT!!! I am disappointed with my experience at The New Pacific. If you decide to live here, get written proof of everything discussed with management, otherwise they will not always hold up their end of the deal. Do not expect to get your deposit back. When I moved in, my unit was unfinished, and I was told repairs would be made within a week. This turned into weeks. The main light in my apartment wasn't in working condition for months. Building manager is a great guy. Very old building.
It’s been two month since I moved out and I still have not received my deposit back. Every time I try to contact the manager, I either get no response or you’ll get it soon. Also the place is infested with cockroaches, no matter how many times the exterminator comes.
