The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Center is a melting pot of culture. This community-driven establishment, located in a historic building in Tremé, is home to a 200-seat performance venue as well as seven classrooms. It hosts an array of live concerts, dance and performing arts by local and touring artists and musicians. Their aim is to educate and inspire music talent, and to carry forward the legacy of southeast Louisiana.

Over all the music was great, people are awesome. But the security team were jerks! Due to the fact I don't eat fried food or carbs. I bring snacks!! Saturday they were tossed. Sunday I put them in my pocket �.. When a person says for medical reasons, well it's a medical reason. Artist in Congo Square, lots of repeat stuff... Good to see GoGo at the Fest. She was my high light besides a few acts. Locals should get a price break. 80.00... Then again it's not for the middle class. Just the rich and retried..
My first Jazz Fest in 12 years and it was just as incredible as I remember. I've been to other festivals around the country and NOTHING compares to Jazz Fest in New Orleans. I'm coming back next year for sure!!!
I had a wonderful time as usual. The entertainment, crafts and food were superb. I think the fest has outgrown the venue. I have attended the fair in the storming rain and the big name performers still have a crowd. The Acura test was too small for the talent last year and again for Stevie Wonder this year. I was also disappointed at the Congo Square Stage on Sunday. I got their around 2pm and was told that the front area was for standing only. I had an awesome time. Thank God for gorgeous weather.
I attended JF 5/7, the sound was horrible at Congo Square, also very unorganized. People with chairs was told to stay behind a line, and once Patti Labelle came on stage, the workers allowed chairs close to the stage, which was unfair to people that was there since early thar morning.
