The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Center is a melting pot of culture. This community-driven establishment, located in a historic building in Tremé, is home to a 200-seat performance venue as well as seven classrooms. It hosts an array of live concerts, dance and performing arts by local and touring artists and musicians. Their aim is to educate and inspire music talent, and to carry forward the legacy of southeast Louisiana.

I am a homegrown, born and raised New Orleanian and I love where I live. From the few experiences that I've had to travel to different cities, I have never felt the "Soul" of a city like New Orleans. With that being said, this was my very Jazz Festival Experience and I don't think that I will ever miss another! I really enjoyed myself. I really needed that break from everything I was going through.... Make sure you take an umbrella, sunscreen, sunglasses,bottled water, face towel, fold-up chair, or blanket....You also need cash and a credit card....Prepare to walk enjoy the weather and scenery sit back relax enjoy the music get up and dance as well... and let's not talk about the food OMG.... I can't forget about the smell as well
It's been many years since I last attended Jazz Fest and there's only one artist that caused me to book my flight to New Orleans after the line-up was announced: STEVIE WONDER. He was beyond amazing and I look forward to returning to Jazz Fest next year!
