DO NOT bring your child to this place. Please listen to the negative reviews, other people are not lying when they say this place's Face-To-Face program is TERRIBLE. We were told a specific diagnosis for our child, and when I went to follow up with his pediatrician this place was like "nope, he was not diagnosed with that and we have no record of it." He was there for TEN days and nothing came of it. Not worth the time or the money - now we have to pay out of pocket at another office for testing that was promised to be done ... read more

This location needs to be investigated. They made me wait to get a psychiatrist appointment in order to get therapy. When I said I didn't want medication the psychiatrist said it had to still meet once a month. The 800# said that's not true, we could do just therapy. It's a 30 day wait now to get therapy. Meanwhile my son has wasted so much time he is in now in crisis. Nobody mentioned their crisis options either just said we have to wait. I was skeptical about bringing my daughter here based of the reviews but I'm glad I didn't let them stop me! Putting her in the PHP program was the best decision I've made! Mariam was amazing, all the staff was great! I've seen such positive change in my daughter, she left smiling everyday. Today was her last day and she is sad about it but the positive impact new oakland left my daughter with is something I'll always be greatful for!
