Have been looking for a new Chinese restaurant since moving to the area 2 years ago. We found it! Excellent service, tasty food and big portions. Highly recommended!
Sub gum is the worse I have ever been served. Looked blah, HUGE hunks of horrible chicken that were full of gristle and slime. Not good. Did like that the sweet ans sou sauce was on the side. Try Kalama..it is thee best!

Excellent food, huge portions and very reasonably priced!
Dirty, Uncomfortable, & Bad Food – The moment we stepped into this restaurant I knew it was a bad idea, but my boyfriend likes the food there so we stayed. There were kids running around unchecked, graffiti carved into the tables, an older gentlemen was hacking up phlegm nearby, and I doubt the table we sat at had received more than a cursory once-over with a moist rag. I have gotten take-out from here for several years, very good food, very good service!
Fresh Veggies and No MSG New Moon has one of the greatest Subgum Chow meins I have ever tasted. They use fresh zucchini in their chow mein and I love it! On top of it the owner is usually in the restaurant and takes a personal interest with the satisfaction of her customers. New Moon is by far the best Chinese food place in Cowlitz County.
