When I started going to New Mentality 6 months ago, I didn't know how to control my feelings, I'd lash out at people and was a control freak. I hated the idea of therapy and tried it before and quit. This time go round I thought I found a place of comfortability. However that was very short lived. I ended up having more canceled appointments than actual sessions . They consistently called to cancel and say they would contact me back once they got their schedule together. I would never hear back from anyone. New Mentality has been such a gift for our family. Our daughter has not only seen real improvements from neurofeedback, but she actually looks forward to her sessions because everyone makes her feel so comfortable and cared for. The staff is genuinely kind, encouraging, and easy to talk to, which has made the whole process feel less intimidating and more hopeful. If you’re on the fence and wondering if it really works — it does! We’re so grateful for the difference this place has made in her life (and ours).
I highly recommend the New Mentality team. Tracy & Susan are amazing to work with to find personalized solutions to fit your needs. My daughter’s grades & test scores improved with the increase in her focus & attention after going to New Mentality. I can’t say enough good things about this mental fitness program.
WOW!! We are in week 3 of brain mapping with our 7 year old. The graph we looked at to get a "rough draft" of what we were dealing with, based on the signs and symptoms it all "LINED up." From the first treatment we noticed our 7 year old would stop and think about his action or words before he did them. 3 weeks in and we have noticed the "SQUIRREL SYNDROME" has called down.
