I recently had a baby here and it was such a pleasant experience. My OB was Dr. Richard Roberts; he was truly great! The nurses during labor and delivery as well as the nurses on the maternity unit were wonderful!!
We waited over four hours to get a vaginal ultrasound done. After our initial checkup, the PA told us they were “getting the probe.” We later learned that the department only has three ultrasound probes, and all three were sent for sterilization at the same time, leaving the unit completely without an ultrasound probe. It ultimately took four hours after our checkup for the ultrasound to be performed. There were no meaningful updates, no clear explanation, and no sense of urgency during the wait. While the nurses we had were incredibly kind, this maternity ward is absolutely terrible. Double occupancy rooms with a communal shower in the hallway. Staff comes barging into rooms day and night. They leave doors open once they leave. After going through labor usually you try to get as much sleep as the baby allows, however that’s impossible here.
Horrific place not a hospital more like a run down motel 6. my son born here January 2017 a complete mess this place is in need of renovation bad so so bad do not have your baby here please GOD help us. This place is a night mare on elm street, just look at the photos I upload CHIPPED peeling pant GREAT FOR BABY TO BREATH! Doors off the hinges, flickering lights in labor room, and post pardon room OMG double shared rooms that look like projects or closets. TV the size of monitors no HD.
